Audience member Tyrone, a black man dating a white woman, commented, “Black women tend to have a certain amount of, for lack of a better word, attitude, that white women don’t have.”

How did you react when you heard this?

Here’s what Dali, another audience member had to say in response: “I don’t think that black women have attitude. I think that we’re more passionate.”

Kiana, an audience member on Thursday’s show, speaks her mind about what she thinks when she sees an interracial couple. “It makes me sick to see interracial couples,” says Kiana. She explains that in the area she’s from, a lot more black men go for white women and she believes it’s because white women allow black men to play a more dominant role.

  • Well I’ll say this. I don’t
know if marriage is for white people but where I work it’s mostly whites
and they’re all married. All the black women I work with either had
babies out of wedlock or they were married with children and then later
got divorced. I know more married white/latino people than black people.

  • White women don’t have the same worries and problems that a black woman has. White women are put on a pedestal from the moment they are born and taught to have a sense of entitlement and are naturally used to being given whatever they want and not necessarily have to work hard for it. White women are also not stereotyped and denigrated by their own men. Black women have to deal with crap as soon as they step outside the door most times. White women cannot relate and don’t have the same type of “passion” that a black woman has, so the “attitude” Tyrone spoke of is just that. I’m tired of black men stepping on their own women to excuse their weakness for white chicks. I’m sorry, but I’ve yet to see a black man/white woman relationship where he DOESN’T dominate the relationship. These are the SAME black men who think they are BETTER than any black woman on this earth! Black women hold their men accountable and you can’t get over with a black woman by complaining about how bad it is out there and most black women will not allow you to become stuck on weakness. Own your choices becky-chasers, black women didn’t make you run to white women, your own selfishness, insecurities and weaknesses did. On my college campus, I see more black boys running after and associating ONLY with white girls than ever! They don’t even make eye contact with the beautiful sisters on campus! It’s not about what’s wrong with black women, it’s about why so many black MEN have bought into the belief that white is better.
