Ronald Reagan is often touted as a great Republican president — and some polls even show he’s ranked as one of the best modern presidents. At the Associated Press’ annual luncheon on Tuesday, President Obama played off the Reagan popularity and told newspaper editors that Reagan “could not get through a Republican primary today.”
