LISTEN: Color Of Change's Rashad Robinson: Corporations Can't Take African-American's Money By Day And Suppress Black Votes By Night

Roland Martin talks with Rashad Robinson from the ColorOfChange.org about major corporations supporting the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).
ALEC has pushed voter ID laws which disenfranchise large numbers of Black voters. Along with the NRA, ALEC also pushed a bill based on Florida’s “shoot first” law – which has shielded Trayvon Martin’s killer from justice – into two dozen states across the country.
Recently Coca-Cola has ended its membership in the American Legislative Exchange Council, or ALEC. Coke dropping ALEC is a major victory for all who are concerned about efforts to suppress the Black vote.
