On Monday morning’s Good Morning America, anchor Robin Roberts shared that she will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant due to M.D.S., a rare blood disorder.
Roberts had alerted her viewers to her announcement earlier in the morning, telling her Twitter followers that she wanted to share “something important” that she’d been “dealing with for the last couple months.”
