Herman Cain Launches Online TV Channel

Former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain launched a new website over the July Fourth holiday called Cain TV, a collection of short videos at times patriotic, inspirational and conspiratorial – and a bit kooky.

The central feature of the site is a series of short clips of Cain speaking to the camera on different topics. The “We Are Not Stupid” channel is a series of videos of Cain discussing policy issues – in one he advocates for the 9-9-9 tax plan as an alternative to raising taxes on the rich as advocated by billionaire Warren Buffett (whose name is misspelled in the video); in another he suggests that President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder must have known about the botched “Fast and Furious” gun operation.

A separate channel on the site is called “Good News News.” In one “Good News” clip Cain discusses his own cancer survival and says “the key is to maintain a faithful and positive attitude;” in a second he talks about good works done by members of the military.

The website also has a short introductory piece to what will apparently be a series of videos about brutal drug wars along the U.S.-Mexico border, and a clip of comedian named Kivi retelling old racial slurs and stereotypes.
