This is going to be fun. The Miami Heat are going to get their rings and raise their banner on Oct. 30 in their home opener against the Boston Celtics. Then the Heat — with former Celtic Ray Allen on the roster — will open their title defense against the team they faced in the Eastern Conference finals.

The full NBA schedule will come out later this week but Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel got a sneak peak at some of the early games.

After their home opener the Heat will catch a plane for a Nov. 2 game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

The NBA final rematch with the Oklahoma City Thunder comes on Christmas Day in Miami.
