USA TODAY: Allyson Felix Finally Finds Gold In Olympic 200

LONDON – Allyson Felix of the USA finally found Olympic gold in the 200 meters.
Felix held off a strong field, including 100 champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica, in 21.88 seconds. Fraser-Pryce finished second in 22.09, and Carmelita Jeter of the USA finished third (22.14).
Two-time Olympic champion Veronica Campbell-Brown was fourth (22.38), and 400 champions Sanya-Richards Ross of the USA was fifth (22.39).
