The world of boxing lost one of its biggest legends this week. Emanuel Steward, known as one of the best trainers in boxing history, died this week at the age of 68.
The International Boxing Hall of Fame member trained big names, like Thomas “Hit Man” Hearns, Lennox Lewis and Vladimir Klitschko. Fighters loved him for his generosity and for often playing the father figure in their lives.
Emanuel Steward, a legend there in Detroit, who died at a Chicago hospital, will be missed. And our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who loved him.
