What I fail to understand is how people can laugh at Archie Bunker from back in the day who was clearly a racist, but now feel that pointing out our racial differences and perceived notions CANT be funny. It is crazy to me. I LOVED Archie and George Jefferson by the way and always think to myself if our society had kept to that standard of really having honest conversations with people who don’t understand us or each other (sprinkled with levity) we’d be a little better off.
