An arrest has been made in connection to the poison letters sent to President Obama and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg late last month, federal law enforcement officials told ABC News.

Actress Shannon Richardson was cuffed and taken to a federal courthouse today, though it is unclear what charges will be filed against her. The Texas woman, who has appeared on television including a stint as a zombie on “The Walking Dead,” originally called the FBI claiming her husband was the person who sent a series of letters laced with small amounts of the toxin ricin to Obama, Bloomberg and Bloomberg’s top gun control lobbyist in Washington, D.C. in late May.

“You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns,” each letter reads. “Anyone wants to come to my house will be shot in the face. The right to bear arms is my constitutional God-given right and I will exercise that right ’til the day I die. What’s in this letter is nothing compared to what I’ve got planned for you.”
