Two people are dead after a gunman opened fire during a township meeting in Monroe County, Pa.
Police say the shooting took place early Monday evening at the Ross Township municipal building on Anchorage Road in Ross Township, Pa. during the town’s regular monthly meeting.
According to Monroe County emergency management director Guy Miller the gunman has been captured and is in state police custody.
The Pocono Record says one of its reporters was in the township building and a gunman armed with a pistol with a scope shot through a wall into the meeting, which was being held about 85 miles north of Philadelphia.
