You might think a Schiano Man would see Super Bowl MVP Dexter Jackson taking in Bucs practice, not recognize him, and kick him out. You’d be wrong. A Schiano Man sends someone over to kick him out.
Jackson related the story during a radio interview with 98.7 The Fan this morning. Since retiring, he’s attempted to stay close to the organization and has attended many practices over the years. That is, until Schiano noticed him.
“Schiano sent his guy over to run me out of practice one day,” Dexter Jackson said. “This guy said, ‘Who are you? What are you doing here? You can’t be here.’ I said, ‘go get the Glazers if you want me to leave.’ He (Schiano) tried to run me out.”
Schiano was more successful at banning children from the youth groups Jackson works with. Jackson used to take local grade schoolers to Bucs practices as a reward for doing well in school, but that practice ended under Schiano.
