2 Teens Critically Injured In N. M. School Shooting

A suspect was arrested Tuesday following a shooting at a Roswell, N.M., middle school that left at least two teenagers critically injured, according to local media reports.

A 14-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl were airlifted in critical condition to a Lubbock, Texas hospital with injuries, according to a University Medical Center spokesperson, KOB-TV reports.

KOB, quoting an unidentified source close to the investigation, also reports that the suspect taken into custody is 13 years old.

Roswell police said the incident occurred around 8:11 a.m. local time at Berrendo Middle School.
