Alexander Bradley, the man former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez allegedly shot in the face last February, was shot multiple times in the right thigh Sunday night at a bar on Meadow Street in Hartford, according to police.
He was rushed to Hartford Hospital, where he was being held in custody Monday morning. Foley said Bradley is likely to be released from the hospital this morning and booked at police headquarters. The firearm used by Bradley was recovered in the car.
Patrons at the bar locked the door to keep Bradley out when he came back with a gun. He has an extensive history with drugs and filed a lawsuit against Hernandez in June. Bradley maintained that Hernandez shot him in the face, and left him in the back parking lot of an industrial park last February. Hernandez and Bradley had been partying together at Tootsie’s, a strip club in Miami, before the incident.
Bradley lost vision in one eye after the shooting. The lawsuit is pending in federal court in Florida.
