It looks like First Lady Michelle Obama may have picked up some tips from Jimmy Fallon when sheappeared on his first week of The Tonight Showlast Thursday. When you really want people to pay attention, try rapping. That’s exactly what she did during a speech about healthy eating Tuesday in Washington.
Granted, she didn’t write the lyrics herself, instead quoting from a piece that Marshall High School students in Virginia put together:
“If I’m going to help my brain come to fruition,
I’m going to feed it quality nutrition.
We love the cookies but they’re not sufficient,
We need to eat veggies to make our bodies efficient.
Roll my chicken in a wrap, don’t jam it in a nugget.
Get hyped for healthy snacks, fresh food, we love it.”
