A Dallas man was shot and killed overnight. His family said it happened minutes after he tried to intervene in a case of domestic violence.
Rubin Brown, 27, was rushed to Baylor Medical Center, but died a short time later.
Quenetha Bell, Brown’s fiancee, said they heard a commotion at about 1:40 a.m. outside their home near Pine and Crozier streets, which is about 10 blocks south of Fair Park.
Bell said a man was beating up a woman and choking her. Brown rushed to help, but then things took a bizarre turn.
