Robin Thicke debuted his brand new song entitled, “Get Her Back” last night at the Billboard Music Awards. The song is rumored to be dedicated to his estranged wife, Paula Patton, from whom he separated after eight years of marriage in February.

“I should’ve kissed you longer/ I should’ve held you stronger,” Thicke sang in the heartfelt ballad. He continued, “All I wanna do is make it right… I gotta get her, go get her back/ I gotta treat her right /I gotta cherish her for life”

After Thicke’s performance, the internet erupted with fans questioning whether or not Thicke was making a plea during his performance to win back Patton?

Earlier in the night, Thicke openly acknowledge Patton when accepting his Billboard Music Award for Top R&B Song for his hit “Blurred Lines,” saying: “Most importantly, I’d like to thank my wife for her love and support, and for putting up with me all these years.”
