WTH?! Thursday: Wife Puts Abusive Husband Out On The Front Lawn, Man Drives SUV Through Store Window To Steal A Case Of Beer

Today is WTH?! Thursday on NewsOne Now, and we’re giving you a rundown of all the crazy stories trending in the news.

This week’s WTH?! play-by-play commentators include singer/songwriter and R&B Diva Monifah and WE TV Digital Correspondent MissterRay

Our list of insanity begins in Bakersfield, CA, where a very thirsty man drove his car through a grocery store window to steal a case of beer. According to ABC News, the beer stolen was worth approximately $5 dollars, while the store suffered thousands of dollars in damages. The beer thief was arrested shortly after his smash and grab heist.

A New Hampshire couple has claimed the top spot in the 16th Annual North American Wife Carrying Championship. For their efforts, the duo of Sam Brakeley and Steph Reighart won Reighart’s weight in beer and five times her weight in cash.

A Manhattan, NY woman has earned the title of the “most ignant and worst aunt ever” for suing her 12-year-old nephew for $127,000 as a result of an exuberant hug. According to CBS News, the woman “broke her wrist when the Westport, Connecticut boy jumped into her arms at his eighth-birthday party, causing her to fall.”

Divorce proceedings can be very unpleasant and judging by this next WTH?! story, a little crazy. Sharafat Khan has been living on his front lawn after his wife threw him out of his million dollar home in Lakeview, Houston.

His wife is so vexed with him, she placed a note on the front door saying, “If you want to feed him, take him to your house. If you want to, you can keep him at your house. Thanks for your sympathy, but do not bring anything on this property.”

According to KHOU, Khan’s wife grew tired of being verbally and physically abused and set the 69-year-old man who suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure out on the lawn.

A man called 911 after apparently getting “too high.” When police arrived on the scene, they found the 22-year-old man curled up in the fetal position surrounded by Doritos, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, and Chips Ahoy cookies. He said he was unable to feel his hands.

Check out all of these insane stories in this week’s edition of WTH?! Thursday in the video clip above.
