Roland Martin talks about the Associated Press’ report about over 1,000 police officers that have committed sexual misconduct in the last six years. He talks to former Dallas prosecutor, Yodit Tewolde about what the report shows and how it’s comparable to Catholic priests that are accused of molesting young boys.

“When cops commit these crimes it only heightens the distrust we have in our system. In this particular case out of Oklahoma, all of these victims are black. They know exactly what they’re doing when they’re picking these victims.

How hard is it to prosecute cops?

“It’s hard to even prosecute sex offenders period. But officers accused of sexual crimes are even harder to convict.”
