Solitary confinement for juvenile prisoners is now banned in the United States. That’s an order from President Barack Obama.
The new rules apply to about 10-thousand federal inmates. Also earlier this week, the Supreme Court ruled a 20-12 decision to ban automatic life sentences for youths should be retroactive.That means 21-hundred juveniles convicted of murder have the possibility of parole.
