NewsOne Now Pays Tribute To The Life And Legacy Of Natalie Cole

Roland Martin and NewsOne Now pay tribute to Natalie Cole, the GRAMMY Award-winning singer who died from congestive heart failure at the age of 65 over the weekend.

Cole, the daughter of late singer and Jazz musician Nat King Cole, rose to musical prominence with hits like “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love),” “Inseparable” and “Our Love.” After eight albums, Cole released the single “Unforgettable,” in which she sang along with her famous father in a technical achievement never done before.

Unforgettable With Love (1991) became her best-selling album and won her several GRAMMYs.

On Monday, Bill Cosby’s lead attorney Monique Pressley joined Roland Martin on NewsOne Nowto discuss the charges filed against her client alleging sexual misconduct in Pennsylvania twelve years after the supposed incident took place.

GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson shook up the top-level of his presidential campaign staff, resulting in five members resigning over the weekend. The resignations include Carson’s campaign manager, deputy campaign manager, and communications director.

According to Carson’s former campaign manger Barry Bennett, the reason why there has been so much dysfunction in the Carson campaign is a result of his business manager, Armstrong Williams, “getting in the way.”

Williams joined Roland Martin on NewsOne Now to discuss the Carson campaign shake-up and the allegations that he is the cause of the problems.
