Martin is joined on air by Rishawn Biddle from and Dr. Steve Perry, Founder and Head of Schools for Capital Prep.

During today’s discussion on school choice Dr. Perry explains that America’s public school system is not broken — it was never designed to educate children of color. Dr. Perry states that many Black civil rights leaders and  politicians don’t send their children to public schools.

Perry also explained when he opened Capital Prep. in Bridgeport, CT not one of 900 families had even seen his school and they wanted their kids to enroll.  80% of their initial enrollees had to be re-classified  because of academic deficiencies.
