Philando Castile was shot and killed by a Falcon Heights police officer during a broken tail light stop. Castile’s girlfriend live streamed the aftermath of the shooting on Facebook Live, capturing the officer’s reaction and the events following the shooting.

During an interview on CNN, Castile’s mother, Valerie Castile and his uncle, Clarence Castile speak out about the senseless murder of Castile who was 35-year-old.

Castile worked as a school nutrition services supervisor at an elementary school in the St. Paul school district, was a member of the Teamsters Union and according to Reynolds, had a concealed carry permit. According to reports, he did not have a criminal record.
