Roland Martin talks to the parents of Kendrick Johnson, the Valdosta, Georgia teen whose body was found in a mat at his high school. His death has since been ruled accidental. The family is now being sanctioned to pay the legal fees of those they once sued.
“It’s another slap in the face. We have to pay for my son being murdered. So far we’ve heard that we have to pay back $900,000,” Mrs. Johnson said.
