Dr. Lomax is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the United Negro College Fund. The UNCF supports more than 60,000 students each year, getting them “to and through” college; fights for college readiness for high school and middle school students; and advocates for educational reform at the highest level.

During his appearance on The Roland Martin Show, Dr. Lomax addresses parents’ concerns about paying for college, how parents should focus on college planning early, and what are some things they can do to prepare financially for the expense of a higher education.
