  • Prince EA is not dope. That dude got three pieces played on your show? Wow. I am only replying because I disagree with his dopeness. Why not play some real poets. Sunni Patterson, Ryan Nicole, Rudy Francisco, Amir Baraka? This dude talking like an castrated psychologist with a clip full of passive aggressive complaints disguised as poetry or spoken word. Just not feeling it. I enjoy most of the speakers you bring on your show. Not for the content, but in the delivery. This dudes content and delivery reeks of old Dev Jam Poetry reruns of the auditioning people that didn’t make it on the show. Okay, that was harsh. But, come on, his piece about schools. He didn’t say anything. He just described pop culture. Where is the creativity? Where are the literacy devices? Where are the lines that will be quoted two centuries from now? They don’t exist. He is a social media personality. I just hate when people who perform spoken word do it as a cliché. I will be glad when this election cycle is over so I can start tuning in again to your show regularly. I can’t stand the constant indoctrination of the fictitious culture (a dream) legally called Corp U.S. Boycott the ballots. Boycott the DMV. Boycott the media. Simply don’t participate. Fix the education of our youth? Teach them how to cultivate their genius. They do it anyways in their style of music and dress. They do it their way, because they watch how fake previous generations did it. Stop filling kids heads up with Jesus dreams. Stop filling their heads up with capitalism, a culture that was super imposed over the aboriginal American way of life. Not everyone wants to show up to the school pep rally, football game, or the home coming dance. Not everyone cares about who is the most popular, who won the game, or who was elected class president. Step 100 feet off the campus into the community and all that become irrelevant. It doesn’t change after high school. We are being coerced into following a popularity contest between Trump and Clinton. Are we supposed to be moved by speeches full of spin that are full of “tell-em-what-they-want-to-hears” without substance, without truth, without policy. Sorry for the rant. I was listening on my way to work and thought, did I really just listen to three of this dudes pieces in place of listening to dark skinned Americans pontificate on the make believe realities of our country. This has been a momentary landing on the planet of social media, where perception determines success. However, we will be taking back off shortly. I will be glad when this boring news cycle is over. Thanks for giving me a reason to be irritated today. I needed that. 🙂
